Reviews and Ratings
I was pleasantly surprised by the charming yet small rooms facing the street at this very old hotel. Although the room only had 1 queen bed, it was small but lovely and had a great feeling to it. The service was top-notch, with the staff being extremely accommodating and attentive. The location is fantastic, right in the center of town within walking distance to many venues, restaurants, and stores. However, the dining options were a letdown as breakfast didn't start until 8 a.m., even on weekdays. The facilities were adequate for my stay, adding to the overall pleasant experience.
The hotel was filled with beautiful antiques and featured large rooms with king-sized beds on wooden frames. However, the stay was disrupted by noisy dogs barking in the halls all night, making it hard to get a good night's rest.
The hotel has a fantastic character and was absolutely amazing. The rooms were clean but a bit tight for 3 people. However, they were very hot and stuffy at night. The service was most accommodating and helpful, attending to all our needs. The location is perfect, making walking to shops and restaurants easy. The dining was promised as part of the price but was canceled without reimbursement. Overall, this is the place to stay in Durango.
The hotel has an old-world charm but feels compact and a bit dark in the rooms. The service was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to assist. The location is superb, right in the heart of town. The dining options were limited, but the lobby ambiance was pleasant.
The hotel maintains its old-time charm with period furnishings, but the rooms feel a bit dark and dated, especially the lighting in the bathroom. The service is exceptional, although the staff seems overworked. The location is convenient, being right on Main Ave, but parking can be a challenge. The dining options were unimpressive, with one choice particularly standing out. Overall, a good value for a stay in historic Durango.
The hotel is perfectly located right on Main Ave, making it easy to shop and dine. The rooms, though spacious, lacked a good view due to booking the cheapest option available. The service was exceptional, with staff going out of their way to accommodate our requests. The location is unbeatable, but some seating had springs sticking out. Dining at the Belle Saloon was delightful, offering a range of tasty dishes. All in all, this is the place to stay in Durango.
